All Students will be required to participate in all the roles of Video Production:

Week 2 - Slide Show for CCNN & Intro to Story Boarding and Video Planning
Week 3 - Using Mirrorless Cameras and Tripods Correctly
Week 4 - Filming Story Board Project (Silent Character)
Week 5 - Introduction to FCP & Editing Silent Character Project
Week 6 - Present Silent Character for Peer Evaluation
Week 7 - Plan and Film 2nd Project - Backwards
Week 8 - Edit Backwards Project
Week 9 - Present Backwards and Branding/Intro to 7th Grade

6th Grade 9-12 Week Beginning Digital Video Production - Elective Wheel
In the DVP Program at Chaparral Middle School students will learn Trust, Responsibility and how to work autonomously through various video projects. Students will be introduced to the CCNN program and how it works as well as an introduction to filming techniques, story boarding, project based learning, videography and non-linear editing.
Some years we have a 9 week 6th grade wheel rotation and other years we have a 12 week wheel rotation.
